Norway Orcas
Five full expedition days in the Arctic fjords of northern Norway — swimming with orcas in dry suits during the herring run, plus two half days for travel.

Eye to eye with the ocean’s apex.
We will arrive in Tromsø by plane and then take the ferry to our expedition location. From our base, we will go out every day to search for orcas and swim with them in dry suits.
The focus is on swimming and being slightly underwater rather than scuba diving. As we are swimming with orcas, scuba diving is not allowed. It will therefore be a freediving and swimming experience.
5 full expedition days plus two half days for traveling there and traveling back. I film above and below water — every guest goes home with a personal set and a film.
Itinerary
- Day 1 Arrival in the Arctic Fly to Tromsø, ferry to our expedition base, briefing and dry suit fitting.
- Day 2–5 Orca days Daily boat missions following the herring run — in-water encounters when conditions allow.
- Day 3 Aurora nights Every clear evening: northern lights over the fjord.
- Day 6 Weather flex day Backup ocean day or fjord hike and drone session.
- Day 7 Farewell Last morning on the water, ferry back towards Tromsø.

Not included
- Additional nights if you stay somewhere before or after the expedition
- Airport transfers before reaching the ferry and after leaving the ferry
- Your own equipment for anything specific you personally want to use

- Clothing for the cold days outside of the water — needs to be brought by you

Photos & Film
At the end of the trip, there will be a full photo gallery for the whole group. Most likely, everyone will also have some personal pictures, but there will definitely be a shared group trip gallery that everyone can access and use for personal purposes.
There will also be one official aftermovie of the expedition, created and published by me, together with a selection of social media frames that you can share on your own channels. The final content will be delivered no later than two weeks after the trip.
All delivered photos, videos, and social media frames can be shared and re-edited for your own personal use. When publishing any of the content, Ben Tischhauser must always be credited and tagged as the photographer/content creator.
