Winter, the way you imagined it as a kid.
The Finland expedition will be a fully guided trip where the route and daily program are completely planned in advance, so you don’t need to think about anything. You can simply come, enjoy the trip, walk around and experience everything, or bring your camera and take pictures along the way.
The whole program will be guided because many of the locations are difficult to find if you don’t know the area. I know the spots, the route and the locations, and everything will be pre-booked before the trip. Basically, once you book the expedition, everything is organized from the moment you arrive at the airport.
Open to everyone — no winter experience needed, full gear list provided. I shoot throughout — every guest goes home with a personal photo set and a group film.
Itinerary
- Day 1 Arrival in the snow globe Fly to Kuusamo, cabin check-in, first frozen-forest walk.
- Day 2 Husky day Long husky safari through the fells, evening aurora watch.
- Day 3 Reindeer & pink hour Family reindeer farm, pink-hour photo mission, wilderness sauna.
- Day 4 Snowmobile safari Deep-wilderness ride to remote aurora spots, night shoot.
- Day 5–6 Night ski & farewell Ruka night skiing, last aurora hunt, farewell dinner and departure.

Photos & Film
At the end of the trip, there will be a full photo gallery for the whole group. Most likely, everyone will also have some personal pictures, but there will definitely be a shared group trip gallery that everyone can access and use for personal purposes.
There will also be one official aftermovie of the expedition, created and published by me, together with a selection of social media frames that you can share on your own channels. The final content will be delivered no later than two weeks after the trip.
All delivered photos, videos, and social media frames can be shared and re-edited for your own personal use. When publishing any of the content, Ben Tischhauser must always be credited and tagged as the photographer/content creator.
